Findrack Sporting

Findrack Sporting was founded by Hal Salvesen, born from his belief that Scotland has some of the most diverse sporting opportunities in the world. This, coupled with exceptional service and first class accommodation gives a truly unique experience. Hal grew up in Aberdeenshire but after working overseas for many years returned back in 2012 with his wife Emily and their three children.

Findrack Sporting offers shooting (grouse, duck, pigeon, pheasant, partridge, woodcock, geese & clays), stalking (red deer & roe deer) and fishing (salmon & trout). An expert in his field, Hal ensures that safety is paramount and believes in educating everyone about the importance of maintaining the ecological balance of the countryside for future generations to enjoy. Beautiful landscapes and exceptional sport make Aberdeenshire the ultimate country experience. You name it, we’ll help you do it.

The team at Findrack will go above and beyond to deliver first class experiences for their clients but at the same time maintaining the family feel of a day to deliver a unique experience. From the beautiful gardens to the moorland hill, the team work tirelessly to manage the farm for the ecological balance of the countryside. Whether it’s helping recover the red squirrel numbers, managing moorland for red listed birds or growing our own vegetables to be as carbon neutral as possible, the team make it happen.
