Both stags and hinds offer excellent sport – coupled with the unrivalled scenery there is a feeling of stepping back in time with these magnificent creatures.

Pheasant & Partridge

Pheasant shoots are among our forte! The pheasant shoot at Findrack has been running for 25 years and is a well established high bird affair where the local topography helps us deliver a most testing shoot. Many teams of guns have been taking days here for over 20 years and keep coming back, which is testament to the quality of our shoot.

The pheasant season is 1st Oct – 31st Jan, and the partridge season: 1st Sept – 31st Jan. We can offer walked-up/mini-driven or full driven days.

These are individually tailored packages dependant on the group size, bag requirements and the time of year.

Findrack Sporting offers incredible walked-up or driven grouse days in beautiful Aberdeenshire. Grouse shooting is often referred to as the ‘Sport of Kings’ as it is one of the most exclusive forms of wing shooting in the World. This is mainly because grouse is an entirely wild bird which cannot be reared and as a result their numbers fluctuate from season to season.

The grouse shooting season runs from 12th August, referred to as ‘The Glorious Twelfth’, to 10th December each year.

Cost depends on the group size, bag requirements and the time of year. Please contact us for more information.

Duck, Woodcock & Geese

There is duck flighting available on one of the many ponds on the estate. Few places in the World offer such views from the hill and exceptional sport at the same time! Other seasonal bird days can also be arranged – woodcock and geese shoots – depending on the group size and experience. This is of course dependant on the number of migratory birds on the estate at any particular time.

The season for wildfowl, snipe and woodcock is 1st Sept – 31st Jan. Individual tailored packages can be arranged.

Individual tailored packages can be arranged upon request. If it’s rabbits you’re after we can arrange ferreting, however no guarantees can be given as to the ferrets behaviour!
