Jack Elles, Perthshire

“Having visited Findrack many times over the years I cannot recommend it enough.  It is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in Scotland and provides an wonderful, varied and testing array of sport.  It is excellently situated, being only a forty minute drive from Aberdeen airport, and you are guaranteed the warmest of welcomes.  I look forward to my next visit whole heartedly from the moment I depart.  Hal and his team are incredibly knowledgeable in the field and provide a fantastic day whatever your quarry.”

Philip Hodgkin, Somerset

The stalking at Findrack is a must. Each hill presents different challenges and thrills, which every stalker seeks. Hal’s unprecedented knowledge of the deer and terrain results in highly successful stalking on each occasion. There was nothing better than gralloching my magnificent buck in the purple heather, overlooking a patchwork of rich colours famous of Aberdeenshire, from the golden fields of malting barley to cows grazing the green grass below.

Diane Reynolds, North Carolina

“Wonderful day at Findrack! Under Hal’s guidance, I shot my first three pheasants from just three cartridges! His knowledge of the sport, coupled with his clear and easy-to-follow instruction really made the entire day such an enjoyable experience. His patience and persistence in working with our group is second to none and has now inspired me to take up the sport.”

Charlie Reid, Hong Kong

“Under Hal’s guidance we had a simply wonderful, fun day. Hal was adaptable to everyone’s needs and inclusive of all levels of experience ensuring everyone had a fantastic day.”

Ben Lever, Newmarket

“I have had the opportunity to stalk all over the UK, from the arable fields and heathland of East Anglia to the wilds of the Highlands of Scotland and everything in between. The Roe Deer at Findrack and Tillyfour provide you with a fantastic challenge encompassing all aspects of field craft, much of which you would not expect when hunting this most challenging of deer! Hal & Steve are masters of their environment and their knowledge of the topography and the idiosyncrasies of the breeze often mean the difference between success and failure. Thank you for yet another successful trip, I will certainly be coming back.”

H.Blakstad, Norway

“I have visited Findrack on numerous occasions, and as a true outdoor enthusiast I  can’t recommend it enough. The diversity of what’s on offer is unrivalled, whether you’re after driven or walked-up grouse, a big pheasant day, or deer stalking. The scenery is breathtaking and the people are wonderfully hospitable. Whilst these things may be common in Scotland, accessibility tends to be rare. Findrack is only a swift car journey from Aberdeen, which has extremely good transport links. I am already looking forward to my next trip!”

Kim Felettigh, Australia

“I have been fortunate enough to have shot at Findrack in early January. The shoot was well organised and the beaters did a brilliant job; we had some quality pheasants throughout despite it being the end of the season. All guns thoroughly enjoyed the day in a stunning environment. We very much look forward to returning next season!”

E. Barrow, Lincs

“Stunning surroundings! What more could you want. Our family holiday had something for everyone – whilst I was able to fish and shoot to my hearts content my wife and children had plenty of fun also! Stunning walks, whiskey tours – and the bonus that we were able to bring the dogs too!”

B. Soames, Sussex

“Hal and his guys could not have been more helpful – they made everything so easy and fun for my husbands 50th birthday weekend. Not simple when 8 people were arriving on 4 different flights from 3 different countries! Everyone went out of their way for us, even rescuing our daughter who had got lost in the lanes on the way! It was an excellent weekend – I’ve told my husband I’d like the same for my birthday!”

M. Hartly, Shropshire

“Findrack Sporting is a leading example of how sporting estates should be run – open to everyone, professionally run and always up to date with safety requirements”

A. Beyer, Netherlands
